When we first got in touch with Lucie, Mandy and the Alago Events team, we had no idea that we would embark on a 3 year relationship, filled with ups and downs but ultimately the most fantastic climax! Yes, we were one of the unlucky couples who had unknowingly decided to plan a wedding date in the middle of the Covid pandemic, in June 2020. With a love and special fondness for Puerto Pollensa in Mallorca, La Fortaleza was always our dream location and when we started planning our wedding at this venue in 2019, Mandy and team were there to cover every detail. Sadly all our planning ground to a halt in March 2020 as we were all forced into lockdown and inevitably had to make the extremely difficult decision to delay our wedding date.

But this was where Mandy came into her own…we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed, calm and grounded person to help and advise us through what was one of the most stressful periods we had faced as a couple. Mandy helped manage all the renegotiations with suppliers, location and caterers meaning we could focus on the positives of how we could make the event bigger and better than we had originally planned, rather than focus on the negatives of postponing our wedding date. With regular Zoom calls and updates, we never felt forgotten nor overlooked. We knew at that stage that we were in the best hands (despite the fact that no-one had ever gone through anything like this before!)

Fortunately the ending is a happy one, and after a second postponement to October 2021, we were finally able to host our long dreamed-of wedding day, and without Alago Events it could never have been the amazing day that it was! Mandy and her team were the upmost professionals, constantly on hand, earpieces in and endlessly communicating amongst her staff, no request nor moment felt overlooked and we knew that everything had been arranged by the most professional team. We joked after that we felt like celebrities (!) as our every whim was answered, orchestrated and looked after perfectly. Not only that, but Mandy and her team felt part of the wedding; they all socialised with our guests, ensured any needs were taken care of and moreover were always there with a helping hand to make the day every bit of fun and excitement we had hoped.

Mandy, we can’t thank you enough. You were not only our wedding planner extraordinaire, but have become a very close friend, with whom we will always be calling on for glass of sangria or rose every time we come out to Mallorca!

We are still in awe and overwhelmed with happiness every time we reminisce our day. It’s no easy task to describe the extraordinary job that Mandy and the Alago team did. Our wedding was an absolute dream. From utmost professionality to welcoming warmth (Mandy is one of the most personable and genuine people you’ll ever meet, we instantly connected with her), Mandy makes you want to trust her from the very beginning of the process. And trust her you should. She not only executed our vision, but it was better than what we originally had imagined.

From the start, the team’s efficient and quick phone calls and emails made us feel like we were planning a wedding locally and not across the Atlantic. Mandy’s suggestions and guidance provided us with tranquility and clarity throughout the process. It was, to our surprise, a seamless and almost relaxing experience.

The year leading up to our wedding we had multiple friends getting married. We were prepared for some stress and hiccups on the day of. But on our wedding day none existed. It was flawless. We know that this sounds like an inflated exaggeration, but our experience was so positive that, frankly, there is no one that we would rather have had planning our day.

Throughout the wedding planning process close girlfriends and family all tell you that not only will your special day be one of the most joyous days of you life, but on your wedding day, things will not be perfect and will go wrong. In our case, our wedding day and all wedding events were absolute (planned) perfection. Thanks to Mandy and her incredible team at Alago Events, our wedding day was indeed one of the best days of our lives and it was flawless; from logistics to execution, Mandy was able to create a lifetime experience for ourselves and our guests. It’s been two months since our wedding and I still have friends and loved ones sharing their appreciation and respect for Mandy and her team. My (rather, grandiose) goal was to create the best wedding anyone had ever attended; and we sure did! With Mandy as a partner and her dedication to our day, our wedding dreams became our realities. 
From the start of our first correspondence, I knew Mandy and I would work very well with one another; not only was she friendly and professional, but she had the same work ethic I embody. Now that we have returned home and come down from our wedding high, we had to write to express our most sincere appreciation for everything you did to make our wedding the best weekend of our lives.  Thank you soon much!!!  
It was beautiful beyond our wildest dreams and everything was so flawlessly organized and so well executed that we didn’t have to worry about a thing.  One of the great joys about planning a wedding so far away was that we were just as surprised and enchanted as our guests by all of the little details–from the flowers to the stationary, every single thing that you did and organized for us was stunning.  And all of the logistics–the transportation all weekend and the timing and flow of the whole wedding–were amazing.  We trusted you and no detail was left unturned–we couldn’t be happier.  
A special thank you to Lucie and Amanda for being there on the day of and the night before and for guiding everything along spectacularly.  We have had nothing but incredible feedback from our family and friends who attended and that really is the most special gift of all.  They all fell in love with the island and felt so taken care of during the celebration that I’m sure there will be several return visitors in the years to come.

The day I met Mandy I took a deep breath of relief. She was exactly as one imagines her ideal wedding planner, friendly, smiling, polite and very professional. From the first moment I felt we connected and from there it was all a bed of roses, pun intended !! I had a whole year to plan my dream wedding and despite having a thousand ideas in mind, some that I thought would be impossible to realize, Mandy made everything possible. The word NO is not in her vocabulary.

My first mission for her was looking for the perfect place for our wedding and I gave her very specific instructions. We needed a very private place for a country-style outdoor wedding, which had capacity for more than 200 guests, overlooking the sea, gardens to celebrate the civil wedding, cocktail by the pool, dinner with views, space for the bridal dance, a more private place to party, etc. Seems impossible right? Well, she got it and exceeded all my expectations.

All my guests still congratulate me for the wonderful place but also for the impeccable organization. Mandy reviews with a pinpoint every wedding detail. One that surprised me the most was, about a month before the wedding and when nerves where skin-deep, she handed me a very complete dossier where every minute of how our wedding was going to happen was explained. There were things I had not even stopped to think and she had it all tied up and locked. You can not imagine how I felt when we were going through each of the steps, it was as if I was already living it !!

From that moment I just had to leave everything in their hands and enjoy it. She took care of everything and did it with so much love and so much dedication it was like she was organizing the wedding of her best friend.

I can say without exaggeration that my wedding day was the happiest day of my life, I would not have changed a single thing. And I assure you that I largely owe it to Mandy, I don’t have the words and thanks to better explain what this woman is worth, how well she does her job and how easy she makes it look.

Where to start with Mandy! There is no way we could have put on the wedding of our dreams without her, particularly as we were planning our wedding from the UK. Mandy listened to and understood exactly what we wanted, got to know our personal style very quickly and quite literally made our dream come true.
From the very beginning Mandy was putting forward ideas that were bang on what we wanted because she just ‘got’ us so quickly, so we wasted absolutely no time in making decisions very early on and already felt in a good place six months before our wedding day, meaning the entire planning process wasn’t stressful at all.
Our guests talked so much about the attention to detail at our wedding, which is something we loved about Mandy throughout the whole process – she just thinks of everything! Nothing was ever too much, which is a nice feeling when you already feel like you’re demanding the world for your wedding.
Mandy met with us whenever we were out in Mallorca and she was always available for a call if we wanted to go over anything – whilst this seems small and fairly irrelevant, when you’re planning your wedding abroad things make a huge difference and she’s empathetic to that. Mandy will always try to get the best for her clients and clearly has a very good relationship with various suppliers on the island.
On the day, she and her team were calm and super organised, and despite this being one of hundreds of weddings they’ve done, they made us and our guests feel special.
Mandy is an expert and above all else, she’s a lovely person and was a pleasure to work with during one of the most important and special times in our lives. We are so grateful to have found her.

My now husband and I feel so fortunate to have had Mandy and the team at Alago Events plan our wedding. We found it a struggle to find the right words to explain just how much of a wonderful experience it was. The level of professionalism was there from the get go- making us feel like we were in safe and knowledgable hands. Planning an aboard wedding was always a dream, but we were so overwhelmed by the logistics; until we met Mandy. ALAGO events planned our wedding this spring and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. We met in Mallorca and immediately clicked with Mandy. Her modern approach to wedding style which I must say is hard to find in the island… was so fresh and exciting.

ALAGO events manages all aspects of your wedding seamlessly and I can only imagine what they do behind the scenes get every single last detail to absolute perfection for the big day. We have a young toddler so planning a wedding and from abroad was difficult. We then instructed Mandy and we worked together to create our dream! We spent hours on Skype calls and lots of emails outlying the process, suggesting ideas and short visits to Mallorca towards the wedding date was all that was needed.
